HiQnet Audio Architect is a software application introduced in 2013 for configuring, controlling, and monitoring HiQnet-based products from various HARMAN brands including BSS Soundweb London. Note: Next generation devices, beginning with BSS Soundweb OMNI, are configured, controlled, and monitored using HARMAN’s newer AVX software suite introduced in 2024.
HiQNet Audio Architect provides an intuitive means of designing and commissioning a complete HARMAN sound system. Designed to support a variety of complex system design needs, supported devices include BSS signal processors, Crown amplifiers, AKG microphones, JBL loudspeakers, Soundcraft mixing consoles, dbx personal monitoring controllers and converters, and other peripheral system components.
A simple drag-and-drop interface provides an optimized user experience for networked audio routing, custom UI creation, logic rules, access control and much more. Custom UIs created in HiQnet Audio Architect can be deployed to iOS based devices running the HiQnet Motion Control app for simple access via iPad or iPhone.
With a design philosophy centered on operational workflow, HiQNet Audio Architect utilizes a diagrammatic representation of the physical venue. Devices understand both their physical and logical placement - in racks and rooms - and the software therefore becomes ‘educated’ about how they are to be used in the real world. HiQNet Audio Architect then automates many of the laborious system design tasks for free. Control interfaces for control and monitoring of all kinds of groups of devices are generated automatically.
